Insect ID Reference Photos

Confirmed-correct example photos of a named insect/pest — used by Tier 3 training to eventually train its own insect classifier instead of depending on Kindwise for every customer identification. Never shown to customers.

Insect / pest name

Reuse an existing name (pick from the list, any casing) to add another reference photo under it — it won't create a duplicate label.

Kannada name (optional)

Shown in brackets next to the English name in this list and its suggestions. Leave blank to skip, or when adding another photo under a name that already has one.

Tamil name (optional)

Same idea as the Kannada name, shown when a customer has Tamil selected. Leave blank to skip, or when adding another photo under a name that already has one.

Telugu name (optional)

Same idea as the Kannada name, shown when a customer has Telugu selected. Leave blank to skip, or when adding another photo under a name that already has one.

Hindi name (optional)

Same idea as the Kannada name, shown when a customer has Hindi selected. Leave blank to skip, or when adding another photo under a name that already has one.

Remedy (optional)

Shown to customers under "Suggested remedy" when this insect is identified. Saved to the same remedy list as the Remedies page. Leave blank to keep any remedy already on file; with a remedy filled in, a photo is optional.

Reference photos
